It was a nice choice for a couple of nights in San Diego with high value for money. The hot chocolate at the holiday ice rink was very good!

Soft drinks at downstairs bar, very good service. Excellent pool area too.
Pretty bad views from the window.

By and large, it was great base for sightseeing in Coronado, had much fun and met accommodating and efficient staff at reception desk. The location was breathtaking, within walking distance of a public library.

I had a suite with a balcony overlooking the Pacific. There was a small table and two chairs.
The last renovation was probably 10+ years ago. The furniture is old. The bathroom is small and comparable to the standard of an American 3* hotel 10 years ago. The lighting is inadequate and the ambience neutral. Even considering the location directly on the Pacific and only 30 minutes from Down Town San Diego, the price-performance ratio is by no means justified.

The situation is very good. A very nice hotel at the Pacific Ocean.
The prices are clearly too expensive!3 scoops of ice cream for $ 19.50. Carpets need to be renovated. It is very expensive and the price is not ok.

Amazingly rich history here with exceptional setting and great rooms. Extremely large room and bathroom. Full walk in closet. Probably 2 of the best bars in all of San Diego, definitely the Sun/Deck Beach Bar.
I thought the service could have been a little better. Very slow to essentially no pool side food/bar service. Some extremely long wait lines for bar service. Overall lack of servers.

The staff - especially the concierge - supported me perfectly on my most important day. We got engaged on the beach and it was perfect!

Great building, nice rooms and very nice staff. Located directly on the beach.
Only a few seats outside the resturants. Too bad that the sunbeds on the beach cost extra.

It was beautiful as it always was. The beach is wonderful and so well maintained. I was treating my daughter to a three-day gift and she loved it.
My daughter did not get to tour the hotel as some of the rooms were closed or were being used by other groups, i.e., the larger, more beautiful areas.

We stayed in the Victorian Studio Suite with two queens. The room had a cool vintage charm, but the lighting in the bathroom was pretty dim. The beds were super comfy, nice after a long day of exploring. The view was decent, but we noticed some rust and wear in some spots. It felt a bit dated for the price we paid, but the historical vibe made up for a lot.

The concierge service was wonderful and helped us out a great deal with directions to local attractions.
The price was steep.
